      Iron Chef

Has anyone ever seen the Iron Chef? It's a cooking show from Japan inwhich cooks challenge the Iron Chefs to a cooking battle and the chairman decides what the theme ingredient will be. They later go on to having the judges taste and review the food. And then the verdict on who one is announced. It's an ass kicking show, anyone ever seen it?
Crazy, but that's how it goes!

Yeah, Chin always seems to win, it's cool when the challenger wins, but it's usually the Iron Chef.

'Iron chef' is the bomb dig show. 'Iron Chef America' is just acheap imitation of awsomeness. i haven't seen them show the origanl iron chef in a while though. probably because i don't watch the food channel often. the best part iron chef is when the guy at the beggining bites the pepper like its an apple and when the judges are tasting the food at the end of the show and they have the cheesy voice overs that say "oh, the texture is so exquisite it makes proud to be japananese"and stuff like that.

Iron Chef was one of those shows where I could miss a few episodes, but I basically got them all in eventually. Sakai owned everybody, as I think his record was 2 loses-80 wins something.
Wasn't the most popular show ever, but I liked it a lot.

Iron Chef America is terrible. I agree with rexle completely. Bobby Flay should never have been put on either show, a. because I don't like Bobby Flay, and b. he pissed off half of Japan in that one episode of Iron Chef where he pouted because he lost, then had a rematch, won, and stood up on the table and acted an ass.

One could always tell who was going to win simply by what region they were from. The farther their culture was from Japan, the worse their chances were. Its like us having to judge between a hamburger and Natto.

Yeah, you try having that for breakfast.

I swear the world is out to piss me off in every way possible. Iron Chef has become ancient history, all that remains is the American version that PAILS in comparision to the original.
