I can't sleep as long as i want to...

Okay, so i sleep around midnight, give or take an hour. But no matter how early or late i sleep, i wake up at 7:30. I never wake up at any later time. 7:30 is kinda early to wake up, so how can i make it so i dont wake up automatically?

You must consult with the doctors. According to me you are facing the problem of the depression. Because my friend face the same problem and treated the depression problem to resolve the problem of sleeping.

Actually, it got fixed by itself. because now i wake up at like 9:00-9:30.

I think it was because school just got out during the time i posted this (a month and a half ago) and i would wake up at 6:30 during school time, so i havent gotten adjusted to summer sleep schedule.

its really not that uncommon to get locked into a rythm and not be able to break that rythm on say just the weekends. not being able to sleep for 10 hours straight is most definately not a sign your are depressed.

Yes...it's very odd that you jumped to the conclusion that the OP is depressed and needs to seek medical attention. I'm having trouble sleeping longer than 3 hours at a time, but it's just because I started a new job working 3rd shift, so my schedule is all messed up. You might want to be more cautious of assuming someone is depressed, it's overly diagnosed enough already, and the OP gave no evidence to suggest that they are depressed.

Doing an action for 28 days will cause it to become a habit. So it would take around a month for your sleeping schedule to "set" to summer holidays mode :L

Well, personally I'm going on 2.5 months at the new job, and still not adjusted to this schedule. So I think it's safe to say it could take a lot longer than 28 days. (granted a shift from something like a summer schedule as in the OP's case, and day/night as in my case is very different)
