Husband snores

My husband snores like nobody's business, and while I do like to sleep with him and he hates it when I leave to sleep elsewhere, I'm getting pretty tired of it. (Haha pun.) I don't get a lot of sleep to begin with due to our schedules, and what little sleep I do have is messed up because of his noise. Not to mention he gets very irritable when I have to wake him up (he told me to), and I feel bad doing so even though he doesn't really remember. He snores a lot more on his back, but still snores a ton on his stomach and sides. No allergies. Earplugs don't work, I can still hear him and they develop a highly uncomfortable amount of suction somehow during the night, so all the next day I have an earache :/ Anyway, how the hell can I help him not snore? Is there some medicine or something?
