Maybe you need a break. Stop setting your alarm and waking up in the middle of the night. Get your body back in a normal cycle. |

Im sick of this. Since I started LDing I try to wake up 3 times during the night, and I set an alarm clock. When I do this I have trouble going to sleep, sometimes it would even take me 2 hours. Its not that my mind wonders, its just that I cannot fall asleep like a normal person! And when I do wake up those 2-3 times at night, I have trouble falling asleep then too! TOday it took me an hour to fall back to sleep after waking up at 5am. Now, if I dont set an alarm clock, im usually asleep within 30-40min. PLZ HELP! |

I think it was here that I read this, that it was a bad thing to disrupt your sleeping patterns. I had the same problem when I began. I stopped thinking about lucid dreaming for about 2 weeks then started again and the day that I began was the night I had my first LD. |

I already had my first ld though lol I know for sure I cant wait another 2 weeks! |

There is such a thing as spontaneously becoming lucid, you know. I don't use any techniques besides keeping my DJ, and I have DILDs very frequently. |
