      I DO THIS AND DREAM ALOT AND WAKE UP AFTER 1PM EACH DAY
      IN WHAT WAY DOES THAT EFFECT LUCIDDITY DREAMING (LIKE mORE?)

      Well logically I suppose more sleep means more dreams which means a higher chance of lucidity?

      The longer you sleep, the longer your REM cycles become, and therefore you dream for longer periods of time.

      So yes, you have more chance to become lucid, but it doesn't necessarily mean you will.

      I DON'T KNOW MAYBE YOU SHOULD CHANGE IT UP AND COMPARE YOUR RESULTS

      I think you should try turning off cap locks first of all....

      Secondly, as has been said, it means longer REM periods, which could mean better chance of lucidity. But, it is different for everyone. I find the more sleep I get, the more groggy and confused I am, so I'm a lot less likely to become lucid if I get more then 5-8 hours of sleep.

      So, I would say what you're best off to do, is to just experiment with it. Try going a week with getting a healthy 6-8 hours of sleep, and then try another week with 12 hours of sleep. Keep a measure of how vivid your dreams are, and if you come close to lucidity/fully lucid.

      Also, I read somewhere on this site that long hours of sleep can have detrimental effects on your body, so I personally wouldn't recommend sleeping that long, not to mention it's a huge waste of your day. Think about it, you're sleeping away HALF of your life by sleeping twelve hours a day. That's a lot of time you could be saving, and spending with friends/family/love/pursuit of happiness in general. Just my opinion of course.

      REM is not good after 9-10 hours of sleep. If you go lucid - it will be short.

      How do you sleep 12 hours a day? I would never be able to fall asleep being only awake for 12 hours, I need to be awake for at least 15 hours before I start to get "sleep tired".

      Yeah will try with 6-8 hours sleep for a week and compare notes in dream journal after another week of 12 hours.

      Yeah, its great to be able to sleep that much but when you get old youll prolly regret not doing anything with your life or something. But yeah you should never stop experimenting cuz there's always something that will work better.
