Is this SP or something else

I'm sure that it happens to everyone. Why is it that occasionally after sleeping on a body part it will stay limp much longer than the rest of your body? I must have done it last night because I tried to move my arm and it didn't go, I picked it up and it flopped back down. Stayed that way for about a minute.

I've had this once, but I don't think its SP. It has something to do with sleeping on it in a bad position, so blood stops flowing. It's a really weird feeling though, like your arm is a really heavy piece of rubber that isn't part of your body.

Just a quick correction, this numbness isn't caused by blood not flowing, but by pressure on the nerves that interferes with their operation.

You're right, if blood wasn't flowing you'd probably have issues with that arm later

One day I woke up and my left wrist was just flopping down and I couldn't move it. I lifted it up with my right hand and it flopped back down. It passed after a couple seconds and I wasn't really worried about it though. I should have RCed just in case, I don't think it was a dream, actually almost positive it wasnt.

Oh yeah, I've experienced this a number of times throughout the years. You wake up and one of your arms acts as if it's paralysed. You can't lift it when you try. Luckily it passes after a few minutes. It can be unnerving at first though.

Heh, you people are complaining about arms? I've had this happen to my EAR ! I must have slept on it while it was bended or something. It was quite painful for the rest of the day to .
