      Dangeours Sleep Walking

I sleep walk, but i am starting to get scared because recently i have awoken in the garden numerous times. I go down stairs and make a bacon sandwich without even knowing. But recently i saw a real life program about a sleep walker who was disturbed and he killed his family in his sleep. This has scared me because i don't want to end up killing my family without even knowing it. Is there anything i can do to reduce sleep walking.

Hypnotherapy and relaxation techniques work really well for somnambulism.

You should go to see a doctor and get a sleep study done first though. Your doctor would then be able to refer you to a psychologist who is experienced with this condition.

Sleep walkers are much more likely to hurt themselves than others.

Have you always sleep walked or is it something new ? Is there any major stresses in your life now ?

Like annsie said, sleep walkers are much more likely to hurt themselves than others. I was actually thinking about this yesterday because of something similar I saw as well as a couple cases where the sleepwalkers almost injured themselves badly because of where they walked. My sister sleepwalked a lot so I worried about her, but it went away over time (the walking around part, she still sits up in bed or talks in her sleep XP).

      Read this:

But yeah, if you're worried the best thing is to talk to your doctor. I've no doubt is can be handled.

i don't know if you take sleeping pills, but that can make you sleep walk.
Try to fall asleep without pills and see if it makes any difference.

      1.Buy a few restraining straps.
      2. Take screws and drill, connect them to the bottom of your bed, being careful to make sure they reach across to each other.
      3. Go to bed, making sure all straps are secure.

      Have a Nice Day.
