I've decided on my schedule - now to follow through...

I posted a topic a few days ago, but now I've decided on what I'm doing. To recap, I'm 16, a sophomore in high school, and I have a 2 week break starting 4:30 tomorrow. After that, I'm going to try Everyman. I'll have my 3 hour core nap 11pm - 1am, and 20 minute naps 7:00-7:20, 12:35-12:55 (during my lunch break, leaving me 5 minutes to eat), and 5:00-5:20. Hopefully, I'll be able to pull it off without being too messed up. Any last-minute tips? Warnings? Anything else I should know?

      Warnings? YES!!!

You are too young to do this kind of experimenting. No one can say for sure that cutting down on the reccommended amount of sleep does not damage a fully grown individual's health. You are still growing in some way, shape, or form at the age of 16. I would hold off until you are at least 18. I hate to be the one to say it, but you asked for warnings

The polyphasic google group does not allow anyone under 18 to be a forum member. If you mention that you are under 18 in a post they will delete your account. Just a heads up that there are definitely people who seriously believe trying polyphasic sleep before one is fully grown can be detrimental to their health. Whatever you decide, best of luck.

I won't be doing this very long term - if anything, I might just do it for about a month and then stop. I'm more doing this just to see what it's like for a while, and if it'll be worth it later in life. I'll definitely keep you guys updated.

I'm also a bit concerned for you, even if it's short term ... this stuff affects growth hormones, and also has a bit of evidence that it makes you more susceptible to hormonal issues like bipolar.
And also definitely has the potential to cause sleep disorders later on.
Obviously for someone who's still growing, these issues are far more worrying.
