Waking up before the powers out

So last night, I woke up right before the power went out. It happened at about 3:50am. This annoyed me as all my fans were turned off, and so were my heating blankets. So, I got up out of bed and walked around the house, and did some RCs to make sure I wasn't dreaming, for a bit and got a glass of water. After the power came back on at around 4:10am I went back to bed and I guess I had a WILD! I was pretty happy about that, except that I went to go look for my Dream Guide once again and couldn't not find it... So, how many of you always wake up right before the power goes out? I know I do...I always have :/

Power almost never goes out here, but if it does when I'm sleeping, the lack of noise from fans/airconditioning + the BEEP BEEP BEEP from uninteruptable power supplies wakes me up. Can't remember ever waking up just before. I CAN remember waking up the very instant it went out though one time... a possum suicided on the high voltage primary on the pole, and tripped the 7.5kV fuse, which sounds like a shotgun blast. Never woke up so fast in my life, think I bounced a foot off the bed before I even knew what happened lol!

That's an odd ability there, slayer. I never wake up before power cuts but I always wake up before my alarm is set to go off, even if it's some ridiculous time like 2am. However, that's probably because my body clock can keep track of time and realise that it will soon be time to get up. The power cut thing is totally independant of bodily awareness so I can't explain it easily.
