How can I fall asleep faster?

      Hi,
last night i tried rythm napping.
This way of inducing lucid dreams seems to be very easy, but the problem is that it is necessary to fall asleep in less then 10 minutes.
I think my main mistake was that I tried it too late. I fell asleep at 23 o clock and my arlam bell ringed at 5 o clock.
This night I will fall asleep at 22 o clock and get up at 3 o clock.
But the main problem is that I´m to excited because I know when I fall asleep I would have a ld .
      What do you recommend?
Maybe meditation or something like that?
I hope you will excuse my bad grammar, I´m from Germany.

Sublingual melatonin always knocks me out.

Otherwise, if you can normally fall asleep that quickly, I'd just persist with it. Within a couple of days your mind will no longer feel like it's a new and exciting thing, and you'll just sleep as per normal. When it's a whole new thing, there's a tendency to try too hard to fall asleep, and we all know that's the best way to stay awake all night.
