I highly doubt it will have a huge effect on your health. You say your heart beats fast, well, when you run your heart beats fast? So what, doesn't mean much. Then again, you wake up from nightmares and your heart is usually beating fast. So, I dont know I guess. Im not very good at this subject but I would guess it has no effect on health. The only part it would could be lack of sleep trying? |

I had lucid dreams as a child with no health effects at all. |

Well, this should not be surprising, since lucid dreaming, like all forms of conscious experience, is comprised of a flow of subjective events created by brain processes using input from sensory-perceptual modalities, internal algorithms or schemata and, perhaps, poorly understood neuronal activity associated with central nervous system homeostatic maintenance. Variability in individual experience is inherent at all levels. |

Yeah, seems like LD wont damage my health, but, abuse of "extreme" situations, or induced nightmares will make my body produce an extra of adrenalin... It will raise my heartbeat, and, in a long term (20 yeart at least) it can give me some problems...(since having a high heartrate without beeing running can cause for example hypertension...) but the again, only abuse... |
