I just joined Diaspora, several people have created servers for people to join. For those of you who may not know what Diaspora is, it's an open-source alternative to Facebook with better privacy control. Now, there aren't many people on it yet and Diaspora doesn't have a ton of features yet (it lacks Instant Messenger) because it is still in it's Alpha stages. However, if you wanna give it a try, I've created a profile on the server here: DIASPORA* Every new member get's to invite 5 people via email, but I figured I would make a thread about it and save my email invites.
