Hi guys...

a few days ago my comp (dell dimension 5000, i don't know whether you can do something with the info, but i though i'd include it anyways..) began to behave unusually... Firefox didn't respond anyomore to Youtube films... Bitlord didn't want to start up anymore... and after that it became even weirder:
sometimes, when i started the computer, it just didn't wanted to do anything... it was totally stuck... right click didn't work, the start menu didn't work... heck, NOTHING worked...

except for CTRL+ALT+DEL... so i wanted to log out of my profile (i have no idea how it's called in english, so just use your imagination if i'm not making any sense to you).. but before this worked, i had to disconnect my profile, "log into" my profile again, at which point my screen said it had "no input" or something, after this it began to "log out... after this was done i tried to log in again.. and this time, most of the stuff worked fine again, except for firefox, and bitlord...

now over the past few days there have been some other strange errors, such as client application (or something) didn't work (it showed right after the PC had started). It even said once that it couldn't find an audio-device...

I tried to click system-restore... but it won't even open.. wtf???

This day and Yesterday it even began to shut down itself with the message that
"Service.exe terminated with error code 203, system will shut down in 60 seconds" (c:\windows\system32\services.exe)

      What - The - FUCK?????

so: my question is: what is this, what can i do to stop it???

      PLEASE RESPOND :'(

PS: oh! and does anyone know what this is: "Rsynit" or something is... i can't stop finding it in my "temp" folder... it pops up once every 3 weeks or so... i have no idea what it is... and i just keep removing it (by restarting my comp, since it is in the temp files folder) what's also strange, is that norton anti-virus says its a Trojan Horse...

anyone knows what it is, and how the hell i got it???

      Thanks in advance

...that's some chaos going on in your system.

At first glance seems like you caught a few dozen viruses and on top of that (or due to that) your hardware went haywire with overheating and/or possibly falling out of its slots. >.<

Yup it sounds just like you have some serious virus or spyware on your system.

Go to Downloads.com and Download Hijack This. As far as Rsynit I've never heard of that, but I think I know someone who does, so I'll get back to you on that one.

I've never been fond of Dells.
Rather than being able to simply open the case with screws, you need to decypher the special lock. After that, the crucial are "protected" (although it's more like locked away beyond unlocking), and it's a total bitch to change parts. Dell also tends to make their PCs cheap to sell a lot, but when you want to buy replacement/spare parts, you're screwed, because their parts are expensive as hell. They especially boosted this nice feature of theirs by having a special "Dell RAM", which is basically pretty rare/expensive RAM.

      My point? Dell sucks.

That aside, your problem is probably a software side one, not a hardware failure. I think you have mal- and spyware (ie, virii) on your computer, which causes your problems. I think your windows has been fucked up, so my advice would be to try reinstalling Windows. You see, once something has been installed/infected, it doesn't really go away completely. It never does. If you get malware, spyware, adware, whatever, and you manage to restore the infected system files, they will usually still show some signs of fucked up-ness. My point being, even if you do manage to restore your Windows, your computer will still not function as it used to (most likely).

      My advice? Try reinstalling Windows.
