Who Has A Good Gaming Rig?

Hey guys! I'm looking to build a new computer for myself, roughly around June/July time. I went into PC World last weekend (I know, it's not the best shop at all, but I was with my parents) buying them a new computer to replace their old, Windows 98, 64mb RAM computer. Anyway, my current computer cost me £1000 two years ago, and this was for 512mb RAM, 60gb HDD, Intel Celeron processor. So, not the best at all. But what shocked me was how much cheaper they are now. I bought my parents a Media Center PC with an AMD Athlon 64 processor, 2gb of RAM and a 300GB HDD. For £350, which also included the nicest 17" Phillips flatscreen. So anyway, things are obviously getting much cheaper. Basically, anyone with a good gaming rig - could you post your system specs here? It would just mean that I could see what other people have for running certain games etc, and then I could buy parts separately. The main reason (other than money) for wanting to buy later on is because I am soooooooooo drooling over the nVidia GeForce 8800 GTX, and although expensive now, I'm sure that the price will drop a while after the release of Vista.

I guess mine isn't all too bad, see my exact specs in the Post Your Computer topic. The 8800GTX is a very expensive card, and I don't expect the price dropping for another year actually.

I'm hoping to get a new rig too though i'm thinking of waiting for Vista and DirectX10. The price of the 8800 will probably drop in time with the official release of Vista. That might be a good time to snatch it. And dam... you got that computer for a good price...
