Any particular reason you are pursuing an ASIT degree? Just asking, the job market seems saturated in that field right now. Is there a chance for you to get a CS or MS software engineering degree?

Right now my employer only considers people with 4+ year degrees as candidates for hiring. A Masters with Microsoft certifications is considered a plus.

Just because it's online doesn't mean it's not a proper, 4-year programme. Unless "UOP Online" doesn't stand for "University Of Phoenix/Pennsylvania/P...something" and is actually some sort of community college thing.....

But Seeker is generally right. In the IT world, to be able to move forward (i.e. not just be the admin who resets your password when you forget), you really do need a 4 year degree. But WHICH school you got it from is not that important. I don't ever use that when going through resumes, just the fact that you got through it and did something relevant. If you're a dud, I'll know in the phone screen .
