      Can't install my modem on Vista.

      I put the software in, I go to add hardware on the control panel, and then I'm lost. It was simple on XP but this Vista thing is pissing me off. I am posting from my Wii by the way.

      Some moderm computers (especially laptops) don't have real modems, they have something called a WinModem, which is basically a software emulated modem. If this is the case then only the manufacturer of the computer will have the appropriate drivers, contact them.
