      Anyone else try Safari 3?

More specifically, have any Windows users downloaded it yet? On the Mac it works great with the exception of message boards.

In Dreamviews I can't select any of the buttons in the message editor more than once. It seems that copy and pasting only works once as well. Hmm, hope it gets fixed soon.

Currently I use Camino, but I'll check it out right now. Thanks for the heads up. Apple's web site claims that Safari 3 supports the W3C standards, but that doesn't seem to be the case if message boards don't work right. Can't they just use Gecko instead of WebKit?

I would stay away from Safari for windows for a while. Serious security issues have already been found. I bet there's all kinds of cross-domain browser vulnerabilities floating around.

Well, for being a beta, it's pretty damn fast and reasonably stable, but there's security problems galore.
Oh, and it's got a million and a half memory leaks. Under light use, memory crosses the 200 MB mark after two minutes or so, and under heavy use, it tends to bounce around the 400 MB mark in the first five minutes. That's an awful lot for just a web browser...

I've downloaded it for Windows but don't think a lot of it. It seems to be the slowest of my browsers (Opera the fastest) and I don't like the look or feel of it. Perhaps I haven't delved into it deep enough to check out the features it has to offer but first impressions have been poor.
