Thread: Just wondering, does anyone know about new graphics cards coming out?

Hey guys, i may not be buying a new computer yet but i will be in spring/summer and i was wondering if anyone knows about newer cards being released by nVidia any time soon?

If anything they will hopefully make the 8800 series a little cheaper..., but i was just interested if anything new is coming out.

well, for obvious reasons details of upcoming graphics boards are rarely leaked, save for a few vague tit-bits

The 8800 GT is pretty much golden as far as price/performance goes. Other than that, I don't know that there'll be much more in the 8 series, but 9 series will (most likely) be released before next summer. I think it's currently scheduled for Q1 of 2008. No word on initial cost or performance, but expect both to be high.
