If you're on XBOX, then I grabbed something, here:

FYI having an "older" model Xbox has nothing to do with JE not running, atleast not in the sense that the disk itself can't be read due to it's manufacture date. I've had an Xbox since it came out, and it can run any Xbox game I plop into it.

The problem, I would tend to think, would actually be with the CD itself. I would suggest checking for scratches, dirty, and making sure that your Xbox is kept clean and dirty free. If you notice scratches and you don't own a repair kit, I would suggest stopping by your local EBGames and asking them to clean and fix it up.

Also, making sure your Xbox is kept clean is a sure fire way to ensure that all your games run smoothly.
If it's for PC, I found this for a game called Theme Park World. But it might work for any PC game, here:

Try placing the CD in another CDROM device and running the game
We have found that the game works best by placing the game in the device with the lowest drive letter. For example a drive D will have priority over a drive H.
Try placing an audio CD in the other drive(s)
      Uninstall & Reinstall

If you're gonna be a pirate, you might as well download a proper crack from the internet, though I highly suggest you stop asking for help with your warrez, on forums like Dreamviews.

protected by a copy protection system called SafeDisc

google it for info and possible way around it

probably easier to just torrent yourself another copy

      http://www.cdmediaworld.com/hardware...safedisc.shtml

Currently there are 3 ways available of dealing with this protection:
      • 1:1 CD-Copy
BlindRead & DDumpboth support this CD protection as long as the CD-Reader supports RAW (MMC DAO RAW) mode reading.
      • Generic SafeDisc Patches
Create a 1:1 CD-Copy and then use the Generic SafeDisc Patch or DAEMON Toolsto remove the protection from the game!
      • Executable UnWrappers
unSafeDisc or DumPlayerxcan extract the real executable from the encrypted .ICD file, just replace the existing .EXE and burn it back to a CD-R or replace it after the game installation.
If your CD-Reader & CD-Writer both support the MMC DAO RAW mode then just do the 1:1 CD-Copy. If not use the DAEMON Tools, unSafeDisc or DumPlayerx to play the game!

You got a copy of a piece of copyrighted material from a friend. That is piracy.
