Thread: Nero showtime instead of itunes

when i open the files on a dvd of when i ripped a dvd to hard drive (yaay i finally got how to do it) it says it is a nero showtime file. how can i make it an itunes file?

Shouldn't matter since you can right click and specify which program you want to open it with. But in any case, you have to go to preferences or wherever in iTunes and specify that you want it to open that type of file.

the problem with that is that if i click play with itunes it doesn't play. i cannot drag it into itunes.

i deleted nero showtime, and now it is a .VOB file. i will try downloading a converter.

where in preferences? i cant find it.

where exactly can i get freeware to convert to MPEG4 or MP4? all the rial versions i found made it have a watermark and they encoded 5 mins of the video.
