      Alas no, they "get that kind of story all the time" and because I lost the receipt I "have no way of proving you bought it"

      My receipt was in the box, along with the receipt and 2 year warranty for the surround sound system I bought my mom as a "Your-son-is-moving-out-and-taking-his-Bose-System-with-him-present" AND the receipt/warranty for the 500 Gb External Hard Drive my brother bought using my Credit Card.

      It got lost in the shuffle of moving from my house, to crashing at a friends for a week, to hiring movers to move me and him into our new apartment. And that is Uber-Gay
