      Exclamation Hit counter...Help?

      I recently made a blog, and I need a hit counter for it. Does anyone know where I can get a hit counter that doesn't count the blog author? Especially a hidden one?

      IMO statcounter is the best. Google it. It doesn't count you as long as your IP address does not change.

      Oh yeah and perfectly hidden, and even gives you visitor information, trends, etc.

      if you run your own blog
      why rely on a 3rd party hit counter?
      you have to be running a database anyway

      I'm pretty sure "made a blog" generally means "used a ready blog solution" nowadays, no?
      Thus, not implying any coding and web dev knowledge, I imagine.
