      google redirects

      most links on google recently redirect to ad sites etc.


      i know this is spyware but spybot picks up nothing.


      i read i should pick up hijackthis, but i don't know how to use it. any experience in this field?

      Yeah, just grind your machine through everything you can find. Ad-Aware is a good start. HiJackThis I believe will give you a log file that you can analyze to identify malicious files, registry entries etc.
