I'm not sure what options Paint Shop Pro has, but look for a setting called "Bicubic Sharper" or the like in the resizing dialog. Also run a sharpening routine after resizing. |

I'm sure this is kids' stuff, but I use Paint Shop Pro and notice significant pixelation when I downsize images for use on the web. Any advice on ways to minimize this distortion? |

If you have a sense of caring for others, you will manifest a kind of inner strength in spite of your own difficulties and problems. With this strength, your own problems will seem less significant and bothersome to you. By going beyond your own problems and taking care of others, you gain inner strength, self-confidence, courage, and a greater sense of calm.Dalai Lama

I've never had that problem with the GIMP when reducing canvas size. If you're using these images for the web, would I be right in saying that they're yours? |

Bicubic interpolation is what you want, you are probably doing nearest pixel or linear interpolation. It should be somewhere in the settings. |
