      Meanwhile, take that thing apart and soak the keys and faceplate in some soapy water. While you're at it, change it to the Dvorak layout and give that a try.

      I've seen worse...... no, I'm not kidding. Elementary school computers = Eek!

      You could try running it through the dishwasher on the top rack, but just leave it upside-down on a towel for at least a day while it dries out.
