      Goolge Chrome - Flash?

So.. anyone else having significant issues with flash and chrome? I can't run anything!

My firefox is fine, my IE is fine, but chrome.. nope. I prefer chrome over the others for whatever reason except for the fact that I can't use any sort of flash whatsoever.

It simply says it failed and that's the only error I got. I updated my flash for both IE and FF to 10.

      So... what the hell?

whenever a flash application starts, it gets all choppy and I eventually have to x out of the program.

unfortunately, I love Chrome and do not want to part with it either.

When Chrome first came out Youtube videos wouldn't work for me.

I personally am not a fan of the browser so I wouldn't know how to fix your flash problem.

Ok I figured it out.. uninstall your flash and install flash 6 version 10 or whatever... if you google it, you'll find this. It's what I figured would be the best route.

If anyone wants links, let me know.

You mean Adobe Flash player 10

Flash Player 6 is looong obsolete (came out in 2002)

Get Flash Player 10 into Chrome
Quick workaround using the Firefox extension version of flash player
(the Firefox extension format is basically a specialised form of Zip archive)

download the flash player 10 firefox extension
      http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get...player-win.xpi

      change extension to .zip
      Extract flashplayer.xpt and NPSWF32.dll

      copy those 2 files to
      C:\Documents and settings\**USERNAME**\Local Settings\
      Application Data\Google\Chrome\Application\Plugins

      Restart Google Chrome
      (\_ _/)
      (='.'=)
      (")_(")
