i just bought a dual-band wireless-N notebook adapter to help strengthen our routers signal so i can get decent internet connection in my room. the disk that came with it I downloaded successfully and theadapter is plugged in but I cant get it to work. the women there said 1) search device manager 2) go to network adapters 3) disable broadcom and it should work, but it doesnt. the only other choice is NVIDIA inforce networking controller which i dont even know if it matters. what can i do to get this thing working? |

You must be thinking of something else, Apple has been using 802.11n for years. I own an Airport Extreme router. My four year old iBook has an 802.11n adapter on it. I think you are thinking of 802.11n*, which is just starting to show up, but I know that Apple already sells adapters for it. |
