Odd. Ecplorer crashes whenI open two of my folders.

Well, whenever I open my documents, explorer crashes. Whenever I open this folder on my desktop (called folder4space (my desktop got overloaded, so I shoved it in there)), explorer crashes. Can anyone help out? And this is some of the info:

      Lucids: 2
      DILDs: 1
      DEILDs: 1
      WILDs:2
Goals: Fly[X]; Iron Man[X]; Sleep/walk on a cloud[X]; swim to the depths of the ocean[]; meet an alien[]

You can access the folder with CMD. Press Start, Run, write CMD and hit enter. In this program, write cd desktop and then cd folder4space.

You're now in the folder. Write dir /p to check out the files. You can write start <filename> to start any of the files, del <filename> to delete anything and copy <filename> <new destionation (e.g.: c:\space\)> to move stuff around.

I might be a bit off on that last copy syntax.

I have no idea as to why explorer would act like that. The most likely explenation is that you've got a virus.

Thanks, and I don't got a virus, I scanned with Avira and Malware 'Bytes like a million times, and got ridof all my viruses. A virus can't leave a permanant impact, because if an important file or whatever is deleted on XP, WIndows autmatically recreates it, right? I can alsojust putin the installer cd and repair all. But ty!

A virus can easily delete files that Windows will be unable to restore by itself. I've never seen something like your situation, and find it unlikely that the folder is inaccessible because of the amount of files inside it.

Viruses can be pretty annoying. Even with the latest kaspersky I once had this really annoying virus that it couldn't detect. I had to reformat. Sorry
