      Wireless signal strength _

My wireless signal to our wireless network has dropped to only 2 bars out of 5.

I don't know what caused it, I haven't moved my computer, but within the past week it has dropped to 2 bars. So, either the device is now faulty...or something is wrong with my computer.

      Any ideas?

Have there been any other movements or new things around?

Not that I'm aware of. There might have been, about 4 days ago my parents left for New York...and they usually keep their bags and stuff in the room where we keep our router.

Does the router have multiple antennas in it? Perhaps one of them crapped out.

I've experienced similar stuff. It's just random, so to say. Unless it actually persists for a long period of time, and causes decrease in network performance, then there is no problem, atleast not something you can identify and fix.

Nope, just the one antenna. I went and moved it as closer to my room as I could lol...

Now I have three bars, but I would sometimes have three bars before...

Oh, but my computer has two antennas for its wireless connection, do you think that might be the problem? It is brand new though. =(
