      Ti-89

so, for some reason my TI-89 is doing something weird whenever I use it to integrate something containing a trig function. It is adding 57.xxx infront of it. I already tried clearing a-z...halp?

The first thing that I always check when doing trig is making sure everything is in the same unites. Check that everything is in radians/grads/degs. Then check if you are using a coordinate/polar/log system.

aye, I did do this as well..no luck...thanks though I forgot about the coordinate part.

edit: ok, so it doesnt do this in radians, but for some reason it does do this in degrees...but that still shouldnt happen...

Odd, radians are more common and easier, I'd think if it only did one that would be the one. I always do calculus with trig functions in radians.

me too, but this guy in electromagnetics likes to use degrees, so without thinking I used degrees...and for some reason it puts those extra numbers out front. But, it shouldnt do that weather Im in radians or degrees should it?
