      Unhappy Um yeah... OOPS

I was trying to uninstall a bunch of useless programs, and I must have gotten rid of something important because suddenly when I try to open firefox and vlc (and prob other things among that...) I get the following message:

"This application has failed to start because C:\WINDOWS\system32\wxvault.dll" was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem."

UGH I'm an idiot. What do I do now?

I'm not really sure what I'm talking about, I'm not really a techie, but I Googled it and found something that I think may help.

Now everything should be working just fine. Let me know if this worked for you.

Not neccessarily. Could be a program with a fishy uninstallation process. Restarting Windows is always a good thing to do, before you try to troubleshoot a problem.

From what I've read online it seems to be related to the Embassy Security Suite. It is apparently standard for some computers, or at least was at one time, particularly Dell computers.

^^ Yep that's the thing that I uninstalled! Oi.

I wonder if I should just do a system restore to yesterday so I could get it back. I'm not sure what it is. My programs list told me I used it "rarely," so I thought it was safe to get rid of it. I couldn't find the installation file to reinstall it.
