      Vista Bootable

Okay.. so two computers in my house are in need of a vista boot disc.

I have no original disc. We all obviously bought windows so I do not feel I am stealing any money here or anything.. I don't understand why this OS doesn't come with a "create bootable disc" option but a "recovery disc" option instead.

So, I think I am looking for some .wim or .exe files .. or, even better, an .iso for the dvd itself.

      Anyone got any help..?

Do you have a computer with it installed that works?

Microsoft's license only allows you to install Windows on one computer, after that it's considered piracy. If you're doing a fresh install onto a new computer, you can do what's called "ghosting" That's literally copying one hard drive to another, byte for byte so you get an exact duplicate, no boot CD required.

The only problem is that it also copies settings, drivers... so the computers have to be similiar enough to run each other's drivers.
