i just got home from school (last day), and i upgraded my two G3 iMacs. one (the one that i use) got 512 MB memory (from 192), and the other one got the 192 MB that used to be in the first one.
i hope that Mac OS X panther runs better with it.
so i put the 512 MB in, and it beeped when i turned it on. so i opened both of them, and swapped the hard disks and ram. now it runs fine.
i now have:
iMac G3 400 MHz
512 MBytes memory
20 GB Hard disk
Mac OS X 10.3.9
EDIT: it started beeping again. damnit
i wonder if it's a horrible thing to put PC133 RAM in a iMac that uses PC100 RAM
