That sounds like a good deal, but for $300 more you can get a brand new iMac. I'm not sure how long 1GB and that graphics card will be relevant. You can get by with that graphics card, but 1GB is tiny, it'll cost $150 to upgrade to 4GB of mem anyway, you might just want the new one right off the bat.

1 GB of memory means that programs and operating systems only have 1 GB of memory to store temporary information on. Most computers have at least 2-4 GB of memory.

So, no. That's a bad deal. You should go for a new one.

Hey guys, I'm back. Feels good man

That sounds like a bad deal for 850 dollars.

Good luck finding a Mac that is a good deal for its hardware.

Why? The system has fairly low specs for 850 dollars, you could buy a much better PC for the same price.

Laptops tend to have less than desktops, if you have 1GB of RAM using OSX you'll be fine. Remember, OSX is UNIX, which has fantastic memory management. If you're running Windows you need more.

I said it's a bad deal as well. I was referring to what you said about "Good luck finding any Mac at a good price", or whatever you said.

They really are not bad, and last much longer than Dell PCs. I think it's worth the upgrade of monies.

iMacs are generally quite a bit more expensive than PCs with the same parts. Their laptops aren't as bad, because they at least having a better battery life on some of them, but for the most part, Apple computers cost too much.

They don't really last longer either, unless you're an idiot and you get lots of viruses.

Meh, I had a Mac from plenty of years ago that still works. Can't say the same for my Windows-Pre-Installed PCs.

Why, you never put an anti-virus on them?

No, I did. They just suck. My desktop could have been Windows, but my laptop is a Sony VAIO and it just has shitty hardware.

It seems like you just want to start trouble on as many of these threads as possible. You are bad at trolling.
