      Dreamjournal 2.0 Mac Help Needed

      I'm pretty most if not all of you have heard about banhurt's dream journal program. So if you have been able to get it up and running on a mac or have relatively good mac knowledge is this for you.

      Keep in mind that i am no computer genius.

      I've been told to download and install mono.framework and to open a shell on the mac and cd to where i downloaded DreamJournal and type: mono dreamjournal.exe

      translation or steps required
      already installed mono

      open terminal and type: mono /Users/3FLryan/Downloads/DreamJournal.exe

      where "/Users/3FLryan/Downloads/" is the directory where you download "DreamJournal.exe" to.

      right click on the DreamJournal.exe and click "Get info" and the directory is the "where" line

      this is what got it working for me but then it quit after about 20 seconds

      Ask the author to release the source code
      then it can be compiled as a native MacOS X application and linked against the Mac Mono libraries

      It's currently a compiled Win32 binary linked against the Microsoft .NET libraries

      This is assuming it only uses the ISO approved API's, and doesn't use any MS only extensions
