      iTunes Accounts (Authorization)

I know that if I make back up discs of another iTunes library that used another account I will have to authorize it to play my purchased songs. But will I be able to authorize it with the old account and then continue to use the account I have now?
(Can I authorize with the old and then log back into the new while keeping all the songs and not having problems playing songs?)

I'm not sure, why did you make another account? You can have up to five computers using the same account.

I thought Apple had gotten rid of the DRM??

If you've paid for songs, just torrent them
(you'll be able to do anything with them, then)

They did, but the old songs still have them.

      Unfortunately...
Update July 20: Yes, it seemed to good to be true and it is. We just learned the the RIAA never used the word dead in its reply to the reporter. Lamy told TorrentFreak that he only said that there is almost no DRM on (downloaded) music anymore nowadays. In other (our) words: it’s an endangered species, not extinct.
