      Beware of this virus!

I have never heard or seen this virus before. But I just got it and it's a pain in the butt.

Apparently it makes it so that you can't open ANY programs. Luckily I was able to open AVG to run a scan with it since I couldn't open up Malware bytes.

I'm currently running SUPERAntiSpyware to get rid of this crap. I don't know how I got it either.

      In before, "Get a mac."

Well, the warning doesn't help anyone without telling how one get it or the name of it

Because knowing the name will somehow inoculate you?

      I like Ubuntu.
Although, it is the only Linux distro I've ever used.

By knowing the name you can look it up and trace the origin or infected websites....

"BEWARE OF THE VIRUS!!" simply wont change anything.

It had a name, but I can't remember it now.

And the only websites I've been to today before I had the virus was dreamviews.

Save yourself some money. Use a PC, and get Norton.

Norton? It is the worst piece of *insert profanity*. I know from experience and compared to other available choices Norton is not the wisest. I am sure the computer-technical minds on here will agree.

How good is Avast Home edition?
Also, I found a deal on Mcaffe that is free after mail in rebate, so how is Mcaffee?
Any other Anti viruses worthy of mentioning?
I need one since I'm switching back over to Windows.

Avast is fine, it is probably one of the best free versions out there, I use it myself.

I have researched the subject and come to the conclusion that Avast! would be the best choice considering it has to be free.

It will be free after the rebate.

Considering it is the pay-ware product I would rather choose that instead of the free Avast!.

Ad-aware is good at removing some bad shit. At least it was last time I was on windows (around 2007).
