Greetings,
i know that beginners should not start with WILD. I am not practicing it to gain lucidity. For now I concentrate on DILD, practicing reality checks when doing regular things in daily life and whenever I notice something strange or puzzeling.
Anyway, I try to concentrate on remembering a dream when going to sleep and my WILD anchor (see below) helps me in this (at least that is what i hope).

So this is what I do:
1. Before going to sleep I write down what happend during the day, keeping track of the most interesting things.

2. I lay down, calming down until i found a position I am comftable with and my breath goes a bit slower.

3. I concentrate for a moment on stopping all movements, then I move my focus away from it by concentrating on my anchor.

4. I concentrate on a dream body. First I imagine lying in bed and chance my body in some ways, which i do, by touching the part I want to change with my hands. Then I imagine getting up and leaving the house, going to an well known place. While doing this I concentrate on the movements my dreambody must do and my perception (how does the floor feel on my bare feet? is it hot or cold? what movement must I do, to jump over a fence?).

5. This works to some extent, since I can feel my body feel heavier, even feel taken a breath is more difficult. While this is not frightening, as soon as I realize this, I snap back into full conciousness, as the feeling ist thrilling and exciting.

Can anyone comment on this? Is this a normal problem for beginners? Do I just need more practice? Is there something I can change and 'play' with the results? Or am I doing something completely wrong?

Regards
Lorgarn
