WILD Late at Night (2-3 AM)

So It's summer vacation for me, and I've become quite accustomed to falling asleep at around 2-3 am, and waking at around 12pm, or 8am if I have something to do / somewhere to be. Since I'm pretty damn tired at that point, could I treat it somewhat like a WBTB? I know that the REM cycles will not have started yet etc, but I feel the same (the tiredness) .. So what method of WILDING could I use?

I'm in the same situation you're in. It's Summer vacation, and I've been going to sleep at between 4-9 AM, and waking up between 2-6 Pm. The last time i had a WILD, this vacation, it was when i woke up around 3. I got up, got a drink (or went to the bathroom) and went back to sleep. I wasn't even trying to do it, but I just laid down in the most comfortable position I could and within a few seconds, I was in SP. as for how I got into a dream from there, that's different for everyone. (I had to pull myself out of my body. Not a pleasant feeling, but it worked). The night before, I had gone to bed somewhere between between 10-12AM, but as long as you get SOME sleep, but not too much, you should be fine. 6 hours is fine, 3 hours is even better. Just treat it like you would a regular Wild, but one thing to help would be to get something to cover your eyes. Sleeping during the day can be hard if you sleep next to a window. I've gotten used to going to bed when it's light out, but it took a while.

I'm not going to add an LD count because I sort of don't keep count. I've had about 2-3 WILDs... i think and one or two DILDS.

Experiment, it varies from person to person, which makes it really difficult to be specific. Just try 6 hours after, then 4, ect, just to see whats best for you.
Dont try hard at all, just lay there and relax, when you see the dream forming then concentrate. Thats the general idea for me.
