What you experienced is not a dream, it was probably hypnagogic hallucinations (HH). These appear as precursors to falling asleep and are a good sign that your WILD attempt is on track. Next time this happens, silence your thoughts as much as possible and passively observe what is happening. After a few seconds to a few minutes, you should experience much more pronounced visual, auditory, and tactile hallucinations. If you remain calm and don't get excited as this happens, you will inevitably end up in a lucid dream.
