      WILD questions

So far, i have only had one lucid dream by DILD, and it could barely be called lucid. I have RC's,DJ's, and the whole shabang. Now, i want to try WILDing. However, i do not really understand the process past the point of Sleep paralysis. Do you actually fall asleep? and how come you can only sometimes get Lucid dreams from them? I thought that WILDing was a way in which you entered a dream already lucid. Also, i dont really understand the "switching attention from internal to external". If someone could clarify, I would really appreciate it.

Bah all over dreamviews you have people going on about sleep paralysis its like they are not even focusing on WILDing. Sure the body goes through sleep paralysis on the way to the dream world, but thats only a segment of what you want.. Sometimes going into sleep paralysis happens so fast you dont even know it (from personal experience) and before you even start to think about SP your already lucid.

Pretty much just WBTB (Get up a few hours after you crash out) and when you wake up either get up do something or start your WILDing right then.

Do not focus on COMPLETELY being still, just relax as you would when you normally start drifting off, but try stay AWAKE. People try mantras (e.g 1 im dreaming, 2 im dreaming etc) or focus on something "external" (such as ones finger twitching) but you'll have to try things out and see what works for you.

Body asleep, mind awake. Sometimes you miss out by letting your mind fall asleep, if you maintain a concious mind, you will go into the dreamworld Lucid.

I know my replies a bit all over the show meh, hope it helps

      AWAKE?

That helps a lot. And you're right, there is too much focus on sleep paryalysis. One more thing. The part where youre starting to get Hypnogogic hallucinations, is there a better explanation for how to enter and watch the dream, or is it something u have to learn for yourself?
