      how long? How long?!?!?

I have been trying to have a WILD for a while now, and everytime I find myself waiting for about an hour, and I just say forget it. I will feel a little bit tingly and it will be a little bit hard to move, but I don't enter SP. How long does it tipicially take to do so? And once you enter SP, what are you supposed to do next to enter a dream? Oh, and are you supposed to go into SP with your eyes open???

hey there - learning to WILD can definitely be frustrating, especially if you keep trying and it's not working. May I ask, have you had success with other induction techniques in the past? Maybe it would help to focus on some other methods for a while so that you can have some LDs and hopefully feel a little less frustrated/defeated. As someone with attention/hyperactivity issues, attempting WILD is very difficult for me - WBTB, DILD, and DEILD seem to work better. Less time spent trying to "make yourself relax" or "hold still" while you await SP.

For your questions regarding the steps for WILD, I always like to refer back to the Tutorials; specifically, the WILD tutorial, though I'd recommend looking at some of the other techniques as well, even just to take your mind off your frustrations with attempting WILD.
