      Once again... WILD frustrations.

Ok... so I tried to WILD during my nap today. Failed. Like always.

I just find it impossible to go from waking to sleep, and be aware of it. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the best way is to just go to sleep like normally but catch yourself before you fall out..

But how do you do that??.. How am I supposed to recognize when I'm seeing hypnagogics... cuz once I do I just jerk awake and can't exactly remember those random thoughts...

So yea... I guess this is just another thread asking bout WILDs... *sigh*..

Every friggin TUT says focus on something to keep your mind awake... but shit.. it LITERALLY keeps me awake... I think I could stay awake for a week just by attempting WILDs.... any help at all??...
      Lucid dreams, gotta love em.

Same problem here... The best I have done so far before faling asleep or losing it completely is the place where i watch the random dream elements (not whole scene though) changing into another thing over and over but after that I either go asleep or stay wide awake.

Can someone please please please explain how to keep consciousness on the border between sleep and awakeness?

Just tried another WID. I was in bed relaxing, thinking about things until random thoughts and images start invading my visualizations... I never get past that though... if I wait a little longer my body gets dumb... but I know it's not SP because I could move it if I wanted to.

Yesterday during a nap/WILD attempt... I put my phone down at 11:19. I always wondered how long it takes me to fall asleep. Anyways, I guess I dozed off because a phone call woke me up, and I thought, "Damn, lost awareness again". Well, the point is that the call came at 11:39, which means that I fall asleep in at least 20 minutes, which isn't too long, just gotta do a better job at catching myself and staying aware.
