Thread: Tried WILD, got to SP, but something weird happened, help?

Well, I've been trying to lucid dream/astral travel for a while, but I had never used any technique, I just kinda fell asleep and tried to remember i was in a dream(I think that is MILD or something). But today I tried WILD. It was about 4pm, but i was tired from a workout and was probably gonna take a nap anyways, so I said why not. Well... I tried it and at first I was beginning to drift off, but before I could reach SP, my body kind jolted(like my legs and arms twitched and awoke me).
So I was awake, but still tired. I went and txted/bbmed people on my phone for about 5 minutes, and than I tried again.
This time, I made it to SP... but when I got there, I began to feel extremely intense vibrations in my head and arms, and I was thinking, great, I've made it to SP, soon I will be able to go lucid... but the vibrations increased to a point at which they were very uncomfortable and I had to stop/snap out of my sleep.

Any explanation of this? I am going to keep trying to WILD, and hopefully get there soon!

I have had two lucid dreams before, but I"m almost positive they were MILD, where I tried to relax and meditate to sleep, but I just ended up falling asleep but later in a dream realizing I was dreaming and going from there.

thanks. I"m gonna try again, and just endure the vibrations!

The vibrations are common. As you get more experienced and get into SP more often the vibrations will not be so intense and sometimes you wont even know that they are there. Just keep trying, and try to stay as still as possible and try to keep your breathing constant, and as hard as it is try not to think about the vibrations when they happen.

don't worry, everything you experienced is normal. You might end up leaving your body instead though (Astral projection). Just keep trying, because you got closer then I did this morning.

actually, i was trying for either astral projection or a lucid dreaming, but I gave up when I felt uncomfortable. But I know that its normal, so I just have to push through it.
