      Getting Up

So, when I attempt to WILD, I have a problem. When I get up and turn my alarm off when I WBTB, I fall asleep usually within five minutes of getting in bed.

I know that I am not staying out of bed for a long enough time, but when I wake up, it doesn't occur to me that I need to stay up longer.

What are some ways I can remember to stay up longer before getting back into bed?

Have several alarms spread throughout the house? So you have to get to them all and have one in the bathroom and one in the kitchen so you remember to go to the toilet and have a drink.

If you live with other people, put a couple post it notes that say to stay up, have a drink etc.

The post-it note is a good idea. You can also try the age-old "drink a ton of water before bed" idea, so that when you do wake up, you have to go to the bathroom. There, a post-it on the mirror is a good reminder as well.
      ...And then to dream...

I usually do go to the bathroom when I wake up anyways. I am thinking of adding a couple more alarms to my phone. To guarantee I stay awake long enough. Any other suggestions?
