      Entering SP

Is it possible to enter SP before sleeping (as soon as you get into bed)? Not going into an LD, but just to practise the transition?

Yes lol, if you're able to go to sleep you're able to enter SP since SP occurs everytime you go to bed

But does it actually affect anything? I try this almost every night. Sometimes I give up after some time (because of feeling extremely uncomfortable, for some reasons) and sometimes, well, I just find myself in a non-lucid dream - I'd describe that by waking up and reminding myself "hey, wasn't I trying to get into SP?".

I doubt it affects anything, it's just good practice. I've gotten SP going straight into bed twice. I kinda fell asleep and had a mini-dream, and woke up to vibrations, and high speed winds. After that I guess I woke up fully. Both occasions happened the same way, mini-dream then waking up into it, now I'm tryna work that to my advantage.
      Lucid dreams, gotta love em.
