WILD easier when you are really tired?

Do you find that WILDs are easier when you are really tired? Everytime I wake up I feel like I could sit there for 2 hours (i do actually) and not enter deep trance. I am too wide awake. I'm wondering if I was more exhausted if it would be easier? I get plenty of sleep everynight. Should I deprive myself the night before?

I try counting as some people suggest, but this only seems to keep me awake.

Experiment with waking up different times, and staying up with different times before going back to sleep. It's not the same for everybody.

I can wake up and try to go right back to sleep and still have a hard time inducing sleep paralysis (yet to succeed). I just stay awake. I'm wondering if i'm not tired enough. For people successful at this... how tired are you usually. How quickly do you fall asleep on a normal basis, etc. Should I try to cut sleep the night before. That's mainly what I'm asking.

Yes, try experimenting with the amount of sleep you get. If you are planning a WILD weekend, you might want fo cut an hour from each night in preparation. Also, you mentioned that counting keeps you awake. Try daydreaming for a while before you begin the counting. I find it helps my ming prepare for sleep.

I find it a lot harder to WILD when I just wake up. I usually always fall asleep instantly, but I try to stay awake for at least 15 minutes, just to reduce the chances of that instant fall asleep.
