Hello
This morning i tried to do a wild, however i eventually see these colors shrinking behind my eyelids however i have loads of trouble keeping my eyes closed when the colors come. Its so annoying when my eyes open slightly i close it but it does it again and again its like its automatic aswell i dont do it by myself. However when i close my eyes the colors continue but suddenly they dissapear even though the colors continue for another 5 mins after my eyes open slightly. During the colors i feel numb in some parts of my body though not sleep paralysied. Also after the colors dissapear i see these little streaks forming a circle.
Can you tell me what im doing wrong.:panic:

I'd say the first thing you'll need to do is figure out how to keep your eyes closed. I don't have this problem, so it's hard for me to talk at length about it, but I might venture a guess that it's due to looking at a screen for a prolonged period of time before going to bed? When I stopped playing video games for some while, then played GTA: San Andreas for several hours and went right to bed, lights flashed all over behind my eyelids, as well as when I opened my eyes in the darkness, and I couldn't get relaxed until they went away. If this is the case, stay away from screens for 30 minutes to 1 hour before going to bed. Like I said, it's only a guess, since I don't have this problem, but I hope that gave at least some insight.

I have exactly the same problem! It's like when I focus on what is in front of my eyelids my eyes just open. I find it quite hard to keep my eyes closed and still when WILDing.

To OP, I have the same problem. I would try reverse blinking before trying to WILD. It'll make your eyelids heavy enough that you would need to close them to relax :)

Just close your eyes and relax your body. Breathe in normally, then exhale. On your exhale, flash your eyelids open like you are blinking in reverse. Do this for every breath in a normal, fairly deep breathing rhythm. Its an insanely easy way to put yourself into a trance state, fall asleep when your mind is racing, or relax when you are stressed out.

Also try doing a WILD immediately after waking. If you have good control over falling asleep the eye opening problem will not even be an issue. I do most of my WILDs in this manner these days because you can do several per night and the process is very quick.
