I tried to WILD ~before~ I went to sleep last night, and, in my opinion, it went pretty successful, for someone who's never had a WILD before. But something puzzles me, and I don't know if it concerns JUST me, or is something concerning many people - lol.

It was frightening and exhilarating all at once. Once I had gotten my whole body numb, and pretty relaxed (breathe in, 1, breathe out, I'm dreaming, breathe in, 2...), something just snapped and I went into something that resembles some kind of oracle trance. My eyes started fluttering underneath my eyelids, my eyelids started fluttering, I could feel my chest raising and I could feel that instead of having that blackness when you close your eyes just in front of you, I had it all around me including a periphial vision type thing and I could "feel" it behind me. Also, it felt like I was kind of zooming towards it. I didn't see any hypnagogic imagery other than what I normally see when I close my eyes (indistinct colors floating around, every other sensory perception active except for my sight, in which I see bright, but hard to focus on, colors just floating around my general eyespace), but it did feel as though a rush went through my body.

But then my sister "woke" me up. Which is kind of symbolic, seeing as how I couldn't switch from external perception (any sounds I immeadiately snapped to) to internal.

WTF happened, and should I replicate it for more effective WILDing or what?
