      Lotus-Flame WILD technique

Who here is proficient with this technique? I've never tried it, but would like to in the future. I'm kinda going thru different methods to see which are the most successful, and eventually will try this method.

My question regards how you picture the lotus and flame in your mind. I know you are supposed to position it in the base of your throat, but at what angle should you be visualizing it. Looking toward your chin with the flame pointing out of your neck toward the ceiling? Or from some other vantage point? Or does it really even matter?

Any other tips would be helpful... Thanks!

      I use it
Works good 4 me in the morning, before noon.

I use or an orange flame or a rose pointing indeed at my chin.
What angle, well lets say with its length in line with my spine.
But remember its pure an association focus...that is all why you do that.
A focus you keep even when you no longer conscious about it
and fall a sleep and that way get lucid at rem sleep in your dreams.

If you cant keep a strong association focus even when you falla sleep it
      wont work for you.
The tech works with every visual associated at the throat.
I once tried a blue flower or a box of matches, all worked fine.

      Drreamer3-
Lotus and Flame is a dream yoga technique where you focus on a lotus flower with a flame in the middle of it. You visualize this lotus/flame at the base of your throat and concentrate on the flame. Eventually you should follow this flame into a dream (WILD). You can read more about it in Stephen Laberge's "Exploring the world of lucid dreaming".

Yes there is only one extra thing to the tech of the flame in throat visualisation that is
very important, if u want it to work.
Not just visualize the flame at your throat but make that spot as your visualisation
and foccussing spot of your breathing.
So focus your breathing there also else the tech will work way and way less!
So imagine that your breathing begind and ends there!

I have everytime i use it a ld in the morning.
But talent for it is also needed its not just a tech.
Often ppl dont like to admit that or talk about that but its the truth.
So its not like theoretical you know how to do it and whammo you should
or can do it. But give it a try for some time and you will find out if the tech
fits you like a shoe or not
